If you don't have a GoGet account yet, go to goget.co.za and click Sign Up.
You can sign up using your email address or Facebook account. Signing up and creating a GoGet account is free.
After you sign up, you're required to complete your account before you're able to book a rental.

How do I edit my account settings or profile?
You can edit the information that appears on your GoGet profile, such as your main profile photo or email address, from your My GoGet menu.
The different sections of your profile include:
  • Edit Profile: Update the basics about who you are and where you live, including the phone number you'll share when you have a confirmed booking.
  • Photos: Upload a photo from your computer, or take one with your mobile device or webcam. A photo that clearly shows your face is needed before booking or facilitating a rental.
  • Trust & Verifications: Add verification information (example: identity and bank account details) to complete your verification, which is required by GoGet.
  • Ratings & Reviews: After you complete a booking, rate, write and read reviews that have been left for you.
To see what your profile looks like to others, you can also click View my GoGet profile.

Whether you're an owner or a renter, the more complete your profile is, the more rentals you're likely to engage in, too.
We require all owners and renters to have a profile photo before they start listing and renting on GoGet.
A great profile includes:
  • One profile photo
  • Multiple verifications which include your email address, identity, bank account, and mobile number
  • A description highlighting key qualities about yourself, your interests or hobbies, or anything else you think someone would want to know
To view someone's profile, just click their profile photo.

GoGet may limit, suspend, or deactivate your account, as outlined in our Terms of Service.
Your account may be temporarily deactivated due to your response time. To reactivate your account in this case, please contact our Support Center.
Your account may be deactivated during a review of GoGet accounts. Reviews are part of an effort to foster a trustworthy community and uphold the Terms of Service.
The following may occur with or without notifying you directly:
  • Your account can be deactivated or suspended
  • You may not be able to access the platform, and your account or content
Any upcoming pending or confirmed bookings you have as either an owner or renter can be cancelled; you may not be entitled to any compensation for the bookings that were cancelled as a result of your suspension. We also may:
  • Communicate to the appropriate renters or owners that their booking was cancelled.
  • Refund renters in full, regardless of the cancellation policy.
  • Contact renters about alternative gear rentals that may be available.
