How do reviews work?
All the reviews on GoGet are written by owners and renters from our community, so any review you see is based on gear that a renter has rented from an owner.
It is compulsory to write a review after your adventure has ended in order for you to move forward with new listing or rental transactions.
Writing a review
To leave a review for a recent adventure, go to your Completed Bookings.
Review history
To see reviews you've written, view the relevant GoGetter's profile. To see reviews about yourself, go to your Profile.
Our community relies on honest, transparent reviews. We will remove or alter a review if we find that it violates our review guidelines.

How long do I have to write a review after an adventure has ended?
There is no deadline to leave a review. However, in order for you to engage into new rentals you are required to complete all outstanding reviews.

Can I edit a review I wrote?
No. Once a review has been posted it is final and you won't be able to edit it.

Can I delete or reply to a review I disagree with?
No, you're not able to delete a review. To promote trust and transparency in the GoGet marketplace, GoGet won't censor, edit, or delete reviews unless they violate our content policy.
However, If you think a review written about you is false or exaggerated, you can write a response that will show up directly below the review and will be visible by the rest of the GoGet community.
To respond to a review:
  • Go to View my GoGet profile on goget.co.za
  • Choose the review you want to respond to
  • Select Reply

Can I leave a review for an owner who cancelled on me?
You can't write a personal review for a cancelled booking. If you'd like to provide feedback for your owner, you can send them a message using your GoGet message thread.
When owners cancel a booking, an automatic review is added to the listing to indicate that the booking was cancelled by the owner. These reviews are one of the penalties for owner cancellations and can't be removed.

Why did I get a review that says I cancelled?
