Cancellation Policy

1.
Cancellation prior to Rental Agreement Effective Date: The Renter may elect to cancel his/her request for the renting of Gear from an Owner at any time prior to the Rental Agreement Effective Date (see paragraph 6.6 of the Terms of Service), without any Charge;
2.
Cancellation subsequent to Rental Agreement Effective Date but prior to take delivery of the Gear: the conditions below will apply.

Cancellations by:-
3.1.
Owner:
3.1.1.
Cancellation made up to 48 hours prior to Collection Date: Loss of 1 star, Automated review stating that an Owner cancelled a booking;
3.1.2.
Cancellation made within 48 hours from Collection Date: Loss of 2 stars, Automated review stating that an Owner cancelled a booking;
*If owner cancels more than 3 bookings within 1 year, we're allowed to remove him from platform
3.2.
Renter:
3.2.1.
Cancellation made up to 30 days prior to Collection Date: Renter gets refunded 0% of GoGet Service Fee, 100% of Rental Fee and 100% of Damage Co-Payment;
3.2.2.
Cancellation made up to 48 hours prior to Collection Date: Renter gets refunded 0% of GoGet Service Fee, 50% of Rental Fee and 100% of Damage Co-payment
3.2.3.
Cancellation made within 48 hours from Collection Date: Renter gets refunded 0% of GoGet Service Fee, 0% of Rental Fee and 100% of Damage Co-payment
4.
Cancellation policies may be superseded by:-
4.1.
the Renter Refund Policy, or
4.2.
where the Gear is not similar to the Gear References, or cannot be utilised by the Renter for the purpose as presented by the Owner under the Gear References; or
4.3.
cancellations by GoGet for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service.
We recommend that the Owner and Renter take pictures of the Gear on Collection Date and on Return Date.
Take note: we are not a party to the Rental Agreement and definitely not present on the Collection Date or the Return Date for inspection of the Gear. All cancellations or claims (for refunds or claims for damages) should be submitted via the GoGet Platform. We will communicate to the appropriate parties said communications and where entitled make payment to the relevant party as per this policy, the Terms of Service and/or Rental Agreement or Gear Cover Guarantee.
